Second Chance of Hope Behavioral Health is for families or individuals that are facing mental health or substance abuse needs that can be treated in therapy. The program is intended to maintain and improve the patient’s quality of life and enhance the patient’s self-respect and dignity. Services provided to school age youth and adults. We offer inclusive and integrated treatment services that are individualized for your specific needs. We provide a positive environment that is nurturing and supports the mental health and well-being of every client. We put Family First! Our Outpatient, Community based Family, Group and Individual Therapy, and MH Outpatient Program can be tailored to fit the client or client’s family’s needs. This service can be available during nontraditional hours, weekends and in the office, or in community. Our clinical and support staff is handpicked to provide the highest level of compassionate and humanistic care. On-site staff includes case managers, nurses, and licensed therapists. Our counseling staff is made up of experienced clinicians, who bring a diverse and extensive background to the treatment experience.

Referral and Intake Process

Clients or their caregivers initiate the process by completing a referral and intake packet. Admissions involve comprehensive assessments to establish individualized service plans addressing specific needs and objectives.

Comprehensive Therapy Approach

Clients receive a handbook and engage in solution-focused, evidence-based therapy. Modalities include individual and family counseling, group therapy, wellness groups, anger management, and substance abuse treatment.

Our admissions team is skilled in helping families determine what level of care is appropriate for their teenager. If you’d like an in-person meeting to determine what level of care your teen needs, we offer free face-to-face assessments at our Second Chance Dayton locations or we come to you.
